Who are the Love Island 2018 couples?

Laura and Wes Anderson

Laura and Wes looked set to be one of the early contenders to win Love Island 2018 after coupling up early on.

The pair went all the way, with Wes creating the infamous “Do Bits Society” for those in the villa who had got especially intimate with their other halves.

But it all turned sour for the duo when Megan Barton Hanson made her move, stealing Wes away from Laura.

The fiery Scot had the last laugh it seemed though as she is now coupled up with footballer Jack Fowler.

When Megan arrived in the villa she had two men after her affections – and she chose Eyal Booker over Dr Alex George.

Eyal and Megan became the first couple to have sex on the show this season but days later Megan told Eyal she felt no spark between the two and Muggy Megan was born.

Megan then cracked on with Wes after he dumped Laura to be with her.

Eyal was evicted from the show after a vote by the girls in the villa and later accused Megan of using him for sex.

In the episode on July 2, viewers saw Megan choose to couple up with new boy Alex Miller – leaving Wes all on his own after he stayed faithful in Casa Amor.

But it was Wes who would have the last laugh after he elected to save Megan on July 5 and sent Alex packing.

Last night they were the couple chosen to go to the Hideaway and Wes confessed they had sex twice.

Jack and Dani

Stationery sales manager Jack had a choice between the two remaining girls who both stepped forward, Dani and Samira.

The 26-year-old opted to go for Dani and Samira was left out in the cold.

The 22-year-old aspiring actress fell for Jack after his cool reaction to who her father is as he admits he “really fancies her”.

The two shared their first kiss together before going on a romantic date and agreeing to meet each other’s families.

They remain a couple, as Dani opened up about her feelings toward the cheeky chap.

Despite their separation as Jack spent time in Casa Amor, neither of them strayed and were reunited when the cast were all brought back to the main villa.

And they’ve even mentioned the L word.

Following Niall Aslam’s shock exit from the show, Georgia Steel was left on her own in the Love Island villa.

Though it wasn’t for too long, as during the second recoupling she decided to pair up with new boy Josh Denzel.

However, after the two were split up when Josh was sent to Casa Amor, Georgia was left devastated as she saw a video of Josh snogging new girl Kazimir Crossley.

After days of wondering whether he had stayed faithful or not, Georgia was left gutted as Josh returned to the villa hand in hand with Kaz, leaving Georgia single after she chose not to recouple in the hope of continuing her romance with Josh.

Sam Bird caused a little storm when he joined the Love Island villa after he called out Adam on his bad behaviour.

At the end of the recoupling on June 22, Sam had to choose between Rosie and Samira – to Samira’s shock, he chose her.

However, both Sam and Samira appear to have found better matches with Frankie Foster and Ellie Jones – which was confirmed on July 2 as the pairs made their couples official.

On July 5 Sam and Ellie were both up for eviction, with Georgia saving Sam by recoupling with him while Ellie was dumped from the house.

Ellie Brown had the nation behind her when she appeared to be falling for Dr Alex.

But sadly it was not to be as despite finding the hunky A&E doc nice and caring, she felt no sexual attraction for him.

While Alex headed off to Casa Amor, Ellie enjoyed her freedom in the main villa to get to know Charlie Brake, a London socialite.

The pair made their relationship official when Ellie picked Charlie to couple up with her on July 2.

Who is single at the moment?

Dr Alex, who has endured a rough spell since the show started, is currently single after Grace Wardle left the villa

Dr Alex

Alex was the second boy to enter the villa but he had a difficult start to his time on Love Island because no one picked him.

He had sort of been with Laura and Samira (the latter with whom he’s become good friends) but it wasn’t until Ellie Brown joined that he and his legions of fans felt truly content.

Ellie Brown swept him off his feet and Alex had been pulling out all the stops to ensure their happiness. They were one of the favourite couples to win the show.

However, the pair had a blazing row and Ellie made it clear that she isn’t sexually attracted to the doctor.

In the latest recoupling, Alex chose to recouple with Grace Wardle but was left all on his own after Grace was evicted after finishing bottom of the public vote.

Samira

Samira has yet to truly connect with any of the guys in the villa, despite being one of the most popular members of the show.

Her latest pairing saw her coupled with Frankie Foster, one of the new batch of stars who were parachuted into the villa while the original boys were sent to Casa Amor.

On July 2 Samira picked Frankie, a fitness coach and business student, to be her other half.

The pair formed a real bond but Samira was left single after Frankie was dumped from the house on July 9.
