When does Nadiya’s Family Favourites start on BBC Two?

Nadiya’s Family Favourites is a new BBC Two cookery show that airs Monday 16 July at 8pm on BBC Two.

The eight part series will be hosted by 2015 Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain. 

Patrick Holland BBC Two Channel Editor says, “Nadiya is such a brilliant voice on BBC Two and the audience loved her passion, skill and natural warmth.

“I am delighted that her new series will be arriving later this year.”

What is Nadiya’s Family Favourites about?

Nadiya’s Family Favourites will teach viewers how to serve up hearty meals for family and friends – no matter what the occasion.

Nadiya says, “I’m delighted to be able to share some of my family’s favourite recipes that I’ve put together to suit different times and situations…and the comings and goings of a hectic family life.”

Each episode will have a different theme including Wind Down Weekends, Family Day Out, Manic Weekdays and Nothing In The House.

The creations across the series include Spatchcock Spicy Chicken with Ghee Potatoes and Baked Pear and Marzipan Crumble.

Who is Nadiya Hussain?

Nadiya Hussain, 33, was born to British-Bangladeshi parents in Luton.

She has three sisters, two brother and her father owned an Indian restaurant.

The talented cook rose to fame when she won Great British Bake Off in 2015.

She has since appeared on other BBC shows including Nadiya’s British Food Adventure and The Big Family Cooking Showdown.
