Adrenaline junkie grabs frisbee from racing speedboat

Forget a casual game on the beach, these adrenaline junkies take playing frisbee to the extreme.

And the incredible speedboat catch of a frisbee 500ft from the edge of the Narrows Bridge in Perth, Australia is fast becoming a viral hit.

It was the brainchild of Australia frisbee throwing champion Brodie Smith.

The 24-year-old can be seen calmly launching the disc more than 500ft from the edge of the Narrows Bridge in Perth, Australia.

As it travels through the sky a speedboat below carrying Brodie's friend, Derek Herron, 23, races towards the moving missile.

Derek then leaps 6ft out of the travelling speedboat and makes an incredible one-handed, mid-air catch before landing in the water.

Brodie said: 'The plan was for me to launch the frisbee out into the water and for the boat to drive up onto it so the 'How Ridiculous' boys can make the catch.

'However, Derek had other plans giving us the Incredible Speed Boat Catch. It was the greatest catch I have ever seen, I was amazed it happened the way it did!'

The video, which has been viewed more than 100,000 times in less than 48 hours, is the latest frisbee stunt by Brodie - who tries to outdo his American rivals in their 'Epic Trick Shot Battle'.

In the past he has thrown a frisbee against a basketball backboard, turned and thrown it the length of the court straight into the hoop.
