Blur are to play a live show for BBC radio ahead of their Hyde Park comeback and warm-up gigs.

The reunited band, who are building up to a major outdoor show in London's Hyde Park to coincide with the closing ceremony of the Olympics, will play intimate performances at the corporation's Maida Vale studios later this month for Radio 2 and Radio 6 Music.

Ticket details will be at, and Jo Whiley will announce how Radio 2 listeners can attend during her July 16 show.
