Ask any engaged couple and they will say their wedding will not be complete without the romantic photographs to commemorate the ceremony.
Some newlyweds have theirs taken
after the ceremony, but this Chinese couple had to wait a record 88 years until they
finally got the picture to remember their special day.
Centenarian couple Wu Conghan, and Wu Sognshi married in Sichuan province, China in 1924 and never had their wedding photo taken - until now.

Never too late: Dressed in their finest wedding attire the 101-year-old groom and his 103-year-old bride pose for their photo - 88 years after the wedding
Conghan, 101, and Sognshi, 103, have been together for almost nine decades, and happily married for 88 years.
They always dreamed of having a wedding photo taken, but when they got married there was not the option.
Recently their dream was made reality by a photo company in their local town of Nanchong in Sichuan and the pair posed up in their wedding finery for the shots.
As with everything related to the big
day, the bride was determined it was going to be perfect and was snapped
ensuring that her husband looked his best in the white shirt.
