The British singer's attempts to conceal her 'secret' concert entrance were exposed by an insider last week.

And during Adele's Melbourne concert on Saturday night, it appeared her fans were well aware she was being wheeled to the stage in a box.

Fans took to Twitter to describe the scene, with one writing: 'An Adele concert: The only place where a box gets a standing ovation.'

During her recent concert in Adelaide, Adele admitted she was worried fans knew her secret.

'I was scared, I was. I'm not lying. I was frightened,' she told the crowd. 'Now, I’ll just walk out and ruin the surprise and be like "Oh hello, hello!"'

Despite hinting she would change her 'secret' entrance, the Hello hitmaker has apparently kept up the act.

One Twitter user even suggested in a video: 'Sure it's not a decoy this time?'

Adele has created traffic chaos during her previous Australian tour dates, forcing her to start 45 minutes late in Sydney earlier this month.

And it appears Adele's Melbourne fans experienced similar commuter struggles as thousands flocked to Etihad Stadium to see her perform on Saturday night.

Early reports by the Herald Sun suggested overcrowding at tram stops at Bourke St Mall and congestion at Southern Cross railway station as concertgoers arrived early.

The publication claimed while Yarra Trams scheduled extra services for the event, the trams were already at capacity when they arrived at the packed Bourke St stop.

Public Transport Victoria warned Adele fans of the traffic conditions before the event and urged them to use public transport. The Victoria Police also tweeted: 'Ain’t nobody got time for that CBD traffic.'

Adele will perform hits from her critically-acclaimed album 25, as well as old favourites in her 18-song set list.
