Mystery as six ‘UFOs’ spotted floating in night sky in sleepy Serbian town

Locals in a sleepy Serbian town have been left baffled by bizarre footage of what appears to be six UFOs .

Residents living in Donji Milanovac in eastern Serbia filmed six bright lights that suddenly appeared in the night sky at around 10pm.

The footage was captured on mobile phones before being uploaded onto YouTube by a user named Dragan Vasic.

The video lasts nearly two minutes, and shows the triangular-shaped lights flying about in one area of the night sky before disappearing one by one.

And social media users were quick to have their say on the footage.

One, going by the name ‘Ik’, said sceptically: “They’re sky lights! You can buy them at the Chinese store!”

While user ‘Vikica’ added: “The Russians have just launched a pilot satellite called ‘brightest star in the sky’, which is supposed to unfurl a massive reflective foil… We are surrounded by so many satellites that are new and old that we are not even aware of it.”

‘Masterman’ added: “I have seen something like this years ago, but who knows what it could be?”

The bizarre footage has sparked frenzied speculation online

While user Mix commented: “These are not lights or UFOs. I attended and it was a dispersion organisation.”

But believer Vlada said: “The aliens came first before the Russians.”

There has been no comment from officials on the lights.
